Firecracker 100 Now One Huge Day

Story By: KAYLA MAY / WORLD OF OUTLAWS – SARVER, PA – Persistent rain hitting the area throughout the day has forced Friday’s Firecracker 100 program to be cancelled. Thursday’s postponement and Friday’s cancellation sets the stage for a jam-packed Saturday at Lernerville Speedway featuring a doubleheader with Thursday’s preliminary event in the afternoon and the 100-lap finale later that night.

Pit gates will open at 10 a.m., the grandstands will open at noon, and cars will hit the track at 1 p.m. ET for the preliminary program. Fans with pit pass access for Thursday’s or Friday’s show may use their passes for Saturday’s first event. Thursday’s and Friday’s tickets will be honored for Saturday’s afternoon show. At the conclusion of Saturday afternoon’s preliminary show, the grandstands as well as the pits will be cleared and prepared for the regularly-scheduled $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100 finale on Saturday night. The gates for the Firecracker 100 main event will reopen 45-minutes after the conclusion of the afternoon preliminary event.
