Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / MICHAEL MOTORSPORTS – FREMONT, OH – After two weekends away from Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions competition, one of which the result of Mother Nature, the “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael will return to Series commitments this Friday through Sunday with a road trip to the Upper Midwest, visiting such areas as northern Indiana and southern Wisconsin.
Michael, who is in the midst of his second, full season on the Arctic Cat All Star trail, will work to end his top-ten drought beginning Friday night, May 19, at the Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana; the first and only Indiana All Star appearance of 2017.
“We are definitely ready to get back to work,” Michael said, a Plano, Texas, native who resides in Fremont, Ohio, during the racing season. “We tried to run some races here and there during our weekends away from the tour, but it’s safe to say that our focus hasn’t strayed too far from the All Stars. Things haven’t been going too well for us, but we’re working as hard as we can to close the gap and improve. Luckily, I have a group of guys who don’t get discouraged. We have a long summer ahead of us. We just need to find some momentum and we’ll be OK.”
Once action in Indiana is complete, T.J.
