Memorial Day Weekend To Be Patriotic At Albany-Saratoga

Story By: MATT KEITH / ALBANY-SARATOGA SPEEDWAY – MALTA, NY – It will be Patriot’s Day this Friday night during the Memorial Day weekend at Albany-Saratoga Speedway. The Patriot Sprint Car Tour will make its way into the historic Malta oval for their first appearance of the 2017 season.

In their 2016 apperance at “The Great Race Place” Jared Zimbardi took the lead on lap ten and then held off the charges of Stewart Friesen and Cory Sparks to capture the win.

All other divisions will be action on Friday night with only the Modified and Sprint cars running heat races. It will be features only for all other weekly divisions. Gates open at 4 p.m. with the front gates opening at 5.p.m. Adults are $15 and children under 11 are $2.
