Looks Like Mother Nature Will Let Grandview Race Saturday
Story By: ERNIE SAXTON / GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY – BECHTELSVILLE, PA – Let us all hope the weatherman is correct and Ma Nature is bringing great weather to Grandview Speedway Saturday. Actually the forecast looks very good and that is very good news after two Saturday rainouts that has the racers anxious to get back in action.
TP Trailers and Truck Equipment Night will feature the NASCAR TP Trailers 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars along with the Blast from the Past Vintage racers with all the action scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
The Vintage racers continue to grow in popularity as they allow fans in the stands to see what racing was all about some years back. And there is no increase in admission for the four division show.
Fans and racers are reminded to wear yellow in support of defending Sportsman champion Jordan Henn’s recovery from injuries suffered a few weeks back in a wild racing accident.
And fans are reminded to bring their luck with them as Dover International Speedway and WNPV-AM Radio in Lansdale join forces to give fans a chance to win tickets to the June 2-4 NASCAR weekend in Dover, Delaware.
As is the norm the folks from the popular Low Down and Dirty internet radio show will be presenting their weekly Meet and Greet at the main gate area as the ticket window opens at 5:30 p.m. Featured this week is Modified racer Kyle Borror, Sportsman ace Jack Butler and past Late Model champion Brian Shuey along with their race cars.
Adult admission for the four division show is just $15 with youngsters 11 and under admitted FREE. Pit admission is $30 with a NASCAR license required. Free parking is offered on the speedway grounds.
