Valenti Modified Racing Series To Kickoff Season Friday At Stafford

Story By: MATTHEW WIERNASZ / RPW – STAFFORD SPRINGS, CT – The Valenti Modified Racing Series will kickoff their 2017 season this Friday night at Stafford Motor Speedway. The race on Friday night will be the 18th appearance for the series. The Series will head into its 14th season. Series President Jack Bateman says things are looking for the 2017 season. He is very optimistic about the upcoming season.

The series will head to New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday July 1st for the New England Shorttrack Showdown. Bateman believes he will have a good amount cars for the race at the Magic Mile.

The series will visit tracks all over New England including Claremont Speedway, Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, Lee USA Speedway, Speedway 51, as well as Stafford Motor Speedway and close out the season at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park for the World Series.

” Its been real popular with our guys. I think we had like 34 cars there last year. Seems will be pretty popular way to end the season. ” Bateman Said

Rowan Pennink has entered the event for Friday night at the Connecticut Half Mile oval in Gary Cassella’s # 25. Rob Richardi, Troy Talman, Ronnie Williams along with Dave Schneider have entered the event along with Les Hinckley as he ranks third all time in the win list on the series.

The action will begin on Friday night at 6:15 P.M.
