Utica-Rome Names Title Sponsor For Sportsman Division

Broedel Energy will take over as the title sponsor of the popular DIRTcar Sportsman division, which will now be labeled as the Broedel Energy DIRTcar Sportsman for the 2017 season.
Since 2001, the Hubbardsville NY based Broedel Energy has been providing delivery of Propane Gas, Fuel Oil, Kerosene, Diesel Fuel, and Gasoline homes, farms, and businesses in the communities of Madison, Oneida, Chenango, and parts of Herkimer, Onondaga, and Otsego counties. In addition to these services, Broedel Energy is now offering Heating & Air Conditioning Sales, Service, and Installation. As a family owned company, Broedel Energy prides themselves in offering exceptional customer service, timely deliveries, and affordable pricing.
As previously mentioned, 2017 marks the second year that Broedel Energy will be the “Official Energy Supplier” of the Utica-Rome Speedway by keeping all the heavy equipment at the speedway moving with diesel fuel, while also supplying the propane gas to the concession stands. Broedel Energy has also shifted their title sponsorship for the Open Sportsman the DIRTcar Crate Sportsman. In addition, Broedel Energy also is sponsoring two big nights during the season with the first being on May 28 with the first visit by the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints and the second on September 3 for the final of the three holiday stops by ESS.
The employees of Broedel Energy have a great appreciation and involvement in local auto racing. Owner, Jason Broedel and his father, Bruce Broedel, have both raced in the Mod Lite division while Jason also competed in the 305 Sprints. Operations Director Shane Andrews also has roots deep into the local and national auto racing as he has been a long-time announcer at tracks across the Northeast as well as part of the television broadcast team at marquee dirt racing events for the World of Outlaws. Andrews was the former voice of the Super DIRTcar Modified Series and still can be heard annually at Super DIRT Week. Broedel Energy has also been long-time sponsors for Mod Lite driver Sam Usborne and former Pro Stock champion and current Go Nuclear Late Model Series competitor Bret Belden.
