Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / DANNY DIETRICH RACING – GETTYSBURG, PA – For the second time in as many starts, Danny Dietrich is a main event winner at the “Fabulous” Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania, this time charging forward from fifth on the main event grid to take command from Jim Siegel with just three circuits remaining. Despite a desperate attempt by Siegel to retake the top spot, “Double-D” held on to earn the $3,200 top prize and become Central Pennsylvania’s first repeat winner of 2017.

“We’re just going to keep doing what we’ve been doing and the wins will come,” Danny Dietrich explained. “We had a little bit of bad luck at Williams Grove on Friday night, but to come back and win says a lot about our motivation and work ethic. To get two wins in a row at Lincoln is awesome. We’ll be back next week. Our plan is to go three for three.”

Danny Dietrich’s victory on Saturday, March 25, at Lincoln Speedway concluded a two-race weekend in Central Pennsylvania for the Gettysburg native, ignited with the Williams Grove Speedway season opener on Friday, March 24. Unfortunately, Dietrich’s night at The Grove ended earlier than expected after a mechanical issue forced the Gary Kauffman Racing entry to retire early from the main event.

“Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway will be our only destinations until we head to Bedford with the All Stars on April 30,” Dietrich said. “Hopefully the weather gives us something to look forward to during the next few weeks. I think we are all tired of sitting around on cold and wet weekends. Regardless, we’re ready to get this season going. I can’t thank my team enough. They put me in a great position every weekend. I wouldn’t be where I am without them.”
