Thunder On The Hill Retains Key Marketing Partner

Story By: BOB MILLER / THUNDER ON THE HILL – BECHTELSVILLE, PA – Long-time partner of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series, Pioneer Pole Buildings – the region’s premier builder of post frame buildings –will continue as a key marketing partner for the 2017 series of special events at Berks County’s Grandview Speedway.

“Grandview is my favorite race track, so it’s an easy choice to support the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series,” said Bob Greene, President of Pioneer Pole Buildings. “Thunder on the Hill does such an outstanding job promoting my business – and the racing action is second-to-none. The Rogers and Miller families run a great event and we’re proud to be a longtime supporter of these shows. We’re looking forward to the 2017 season and many more years of success together.”

A great supporter of regional auto racing, Pioneer Pole Buildings can be seen emblazoned on the machines of many of Grandview Speedway’s regular competitors including 2016 Modified Champion, Craig VonDohren – a six-time Thunder on the Hill Series winner.

“The successes that we’ve shared with Pioneer Pole Buildings has been remarkable over the years,” said Thunder Series Co-Promoter Bob Miller. “Bob Greene and PPB represent a perfect example of how companies can utilize our sport both on and off the track to achieve success.”

The Pioneer Pole Buildings mobile sales unit will be on display at all of the Thunder on the Hill Racing Series events kicking off on Sunday, May 28 with the Triple Thunder Thriller a 358 vs. Big Block Modified showdown that includes Sportsman, and MASS Sprint Cars.

The 2017 season continues just two-weeks later with the invading USAC National Wingless Sprint Car Series on Tuesday, June 13 competing with Grandview’s premier racing division the NASCAR 358 Modifieds.

The 2017 racing season will include activities and promotions, providing fun for the fans with elements such as: Pre-Race Pit Tours, the Inside/Out Experience – where fans can sign-up to watch hot laps from the infield, the Low Down & Dirty Radio Show pre-race Meet & Greet, JOE “THE PIZZA DUDE”, giveaways, fireworks, and appearances by Miss Thunder on the Hill, Lauren Fischer.

NAPA Auto Parts continues their long run with Thunder on the Hill as the Series title sponsor, joined by Pioneer Pole Buildings, Quaker Steak and Lube, and GALCO Business Communications.
