Monadnock To Hold Six ACT-Type LM Races

Column By: MATTHEW WIERNASZ / RPW – WINCHESTER, NH – Monadnock Speedway will hold six ACT Tour Type Late Model races during the 2017 season. Gary Knight held a meeting for the teams last Saturday at the VFW in Winchester, NH. Track owner Larry Cirillo was also at the meeting.

The meeting was a success and teams have expressed interested through e-mail and social media. Drivers such as Guy Caron, Aaron Fellows, Adam Gray, and Tom Carey, III have expressed interest in racing in the division.

The rules will be under ACT Tour type rules

The first five events will be 75 laps beginning on Saturday night May 13th, June 10th, July 8th, July 29th and August 5th. The sixth and final event will be held on September 30th with a 100 lap event and champion will be crowned.

All tires that are sold, $25 per tire will go towards the point fund. A license fee of $150 per team will be required. All of that for the license fee will go towards the point fund.

The winner of each event will win $1,000 second will pay $650 third will pay $500, fourth will pay $450 and fifth will pay $400.

Monadnock Speedway will kickoff their 2017 season on Saturday April 22nd when the EXIT Realty Modified Touring Series will kickoff their season as part of Spring Dash 2017. Race time will begin at 5:00 P.M.
