Bernheisel Set To Reward Grandview LM Racers

Story By: ERNIE SAXTON / GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY – BECHTELSVILLE, PA – Bernheisel Race Chassis will return, for the fifth season, as sponsor of the NASCAR Late Model racing division at Grandview Speedway for the 2017.

“We appreciate the opportunity to work with the Rogers family in an attempt to grow and improve the Late Model division,” said BRC president Jim Bernheisel. “Grandview continues to offer a quality racing program and the Late Models are an important part of that program.”

BRC will offer a program that includes free tire giveaways for the Late Model racers during the 2017 season as well as a Hard Charger Award for the driver that passes the most cars during feature races run during the 2017 season. The Hard Charger will earn a beautiful BRC trophy at the end of the season.

A free tire coupon will be given to all who ran every Late Model race at Grandview during the season but did not win one in the free drawings.

A Manufacturers Appreciation Night will also take place on Saturday, August 26th with approximately $7,000 worth of product being given away. The Late Model feature race on that night will be 35 laps and carry an increased purse.

Late Model racers must be showing BRC decals, clearly visible on both sides of the race car, in order to be eligible for the awards.

As part of the sponsorship program BRC will be able to sell the Grandview tires at their business location.

“All of us at Grandview are excited to be a part of the BRC program.” said track spokesperson Tina Rogers. “The Late Models continue to be an important part of racing at Grandview and we want them to grow and prosper during this season and the coming seasons.”

TP Trailers of Limerick, PA continues to offer a $100 bonus to each Late Model feature winner.

The BRC NASCAR Late Models will be part of the tripleheader stock car racing events being offered at Grandview for each Saturday night. The T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds and Sportsman are also featured in the Saturday night, 7 p.m., racing action.

The 2017 season, the 55th consecutive season of stock car racing at Grandview Speedway, kicks off with the traditional free-to-the-public practice session on Saturday, March 25th at noon. The official season opener for Saturday night racing action will take place on April 1st at 7 p.m. and will feature the T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars.
