THOMPSON, CT - Patrick Emerling will run a partial schedule on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.  The Icebreaker was not a part of his schedule but when other things had changed, Emerling made the trip to the 5/8 mile oval from Upstate New York.

SWEDESBORO, NJ - A 72-degree day in Swedesboro, NJ was the setting for the “South Jersey Shootout,” the second points race for the Short Track Super Series South Region. 119 race cars entered the pit area, spread between the Big and Small Block Modifieds, Sportsman, XCel 600's and the Outlaw Stocks.

FONDA, NY - Pete Demitraszek opened the pit gates to the historic Fonda speedway on Saturday for the first time in 2016. Allthough the grandstands where dark, there was still a bit of excitement in the spring air as roughly 75 teams where in attendance for a test and tune before the point season begins this weekend.
