SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY- March 10, 2014- On Saturday evening March 8th the staff, fans and competitors who call the Albany-Saratoga Speedway home gathered at the Holiday Inn – Saratoga Springs to honor the accomplishments of the 2013 racing season. In all, 46 different drivers in six divisions brought home awards during the ceremony that was completed in just over three hours.Veteran track announcer Dan Martin served as emcee for the event. He opened the evening with a review of the 2013 season and the unmatched success that Albany-Saratoga Speedway regulars had at Super DIRT Week XLII.

“If it runs out, stay on the track and coast to the finish,” Letarte told his driver as he took the white flag in Sunday’s Kobalt 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

SOPHIA, NC- March 10, 2014- Andy Seuss mounted his challenge to dethrone George Brunnhoelzl III for the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour Sunday in dominating fashion.The 26-year-old from Hampstead, N.H., was fastest in practice, won the Coors Light Pole Award and led every lap en route to winning the Whelen Season Opener 150 at Caraway Speedway. He finished 1.465 seconds ahead of runner-up Brunnhoelzl.

TUCSON, AZ- March 9, 2014- Brad Sweet drove to victory in the NAPA Auto Parts Wildcat Shootout presented by RideNow Powersports on Saturday night at Tucson International Raceway for his second World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series win of 2014.
Sweet surged into the lead past Kerry Madsen on the fourth lap of the 25-lap main event at the 3/8-mile dirt oval. Madsen held on for second while Steve Kinser was third for his fourth consecutive podium finish during his “Salute to the King” tour. Past champions Daryn Pittman and Donny Schatz rounded out the top five.

OSWEGO, NY- March 9, 2014- For the first time since 2007, Oswego Speedway will again award guaranteed starting positions to drivers for the upcoming running of the 58th annual Budweiser International Classic 200 for Novelis Supermodifieds.
The guaranteed starter format for the International Classic started several years ago, with starting spots initially awarded to drivers for winning select specials events at different tracks across the country.

LAS VEGAS, NV- March 9, 2014- In the closing laps of Saturday's Boyd Gaming 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Kyle Busch was close enough to make Brad Keselowski uncomfortable. It didn’t help that Keselowski’s engine sputtered when the voltage in his battery dropped dangerously low.
But Keselowski built a big enough lead after a restart on Lap 168 of 200 to ward off Busch’s charge in the closing stages of the race.
