FULTONVILLE, NY- July 20, 2014- The Glen Ridge Motorsports Park is located in one of the most scenic locations you will ever see for a dirt race track and last Friday night with a great view of the Mohawk Valley and a beautiful summer sun set fans were treated to some very exciting action on “The Fastest 1/4 Mile on Dirt."

Willy Decker of Vernon, N.Y. would make it two in a row at his new Friday night home taking the modified win and Dave Constantino would win his second in a row in the sportsman division. Danny Varin was the star in the C.R.S.A. sprint race and Darral Hulbert would take another win in the vintage modifieds. And in the 4 cylinders it was again Pete Vila the winner, while Francis Oliver won in the Xcell 600.

SUSQUEHANNA, PA- July 20, 2014- Another large crowd came out to Penn Can Speedway Friday on the annual Driver Autograph Night sponsored by Pompey Racing. The fans were treated to another night of side by side racing in all divisions. The modified main event saw a three car drag race coming out of turn four coming to the checkered flag with Bob Trapper of Scranton edging out Billy Thornton of Old Forge and Kevin Hartnett of Barto.

Mike Ronca passed away suddenly during the off season three years ago and ever since the Great Race Place has honored him with the Hungry Mike Ronca Memorial event. For the second straight season Kenny Tremont, Jr. picked up the win.

BREWERTON, NY- July 19, 2014- Great race teams find a way to fight back from adversity. That’s exactly what happened for Matt Sheppard and his team after a DNF on July 11th. On Friday night Sheppard went back to victory lane after coming into the night with a slim seven point lead over Billy Decker.

Sheppard who started 13th went to the bottom of the speedway when he noticed the top getting higher and higher as he drove into the top-five when a caution came out with ten-laps to go in the 35-lap feature. On the restart Sheppard used the low groove to grab the lead from race-long leader Vinnie Vitale on lap-26. Once in the top spot nobody seriously challenged him the rest of the way as he earned his fourth Tracey Road Equipment DIRTcar Modified win of the season at the Brewerton Speedway.

MECHANICSBURG, PA- July 19, 2014- Greg Hodnett led the Pennsylvania Posse to a World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series win Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway, striking back on night one of the Summer Nationals after Outlaw Daryn Pittman won Thursday night at Lincoln Speedway.

Hodnett, who started the A main in fourth in his Lelands.com/Pasquariello's Auto Shop car, dominated the second half after getting around Outlaw Joey Saldana and fellow Posse Brent Marks on a restart. Hodnett said the double file restarts that had hurt him the night before at Lincoln, helped him at Williams Grove.

Pagenaud, driving the No. 77 Schmidt Peterson Hamilton Motorsports car, recorded a best lap of 1 minute, 0.0084 seconds on the 1.7-mile, 11-turn temporary street circuit on the grounds of the Canadian National Exhibition.

AKWESASNE, NY- July 19, 2014- With St. Lawrence Radiology on hand for a big night of racing this past Friday night at Mohawk International Raceway all 4 divisions were treated to a very fast racing surface which produced some suprises at the top of the leader board in all 4 divisions.

The 358 Modifieds were set for battle and 2 non winners led the field to the green flag as Charlie Rice took the top spot away from David Papineau at the start of the 25 lap event. Rice, who ran a limited Pro Stock Schedule in 2013 at MIR, was the driver to beat as he charged out front with David Papineau and 2013 Rookie of the Year Travis Stacey rounding out the top 3. Rice continued to surprise everyone as he led by over a straight away by lap 7 but the man on the move was 2 time and defending track champion Billy Dunn.
