FULTON, NY - MAY 12, 2013- During the week Chad Phelps made a call to Billy Colton at Troyer looking for advice on car setup. That advice paid off as Phelps took the big 35 lap Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified win on Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway. On lap17, Phelps shot from third to the lead, and then outran Robbie Bellinger in the late stages for the popular win.

DARLINGTON, SC- May 12, 2013- Unsinkable Matt Kenseth capped a banner week for unsinkable Joe Gibbs Racing with a victory in Saturday night's Bojangles' Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway with a substitute crew chief on his pit box—the unsinkable Wally Brown.

The past four days could hardly have been better for JGR, with Wednesday bringing a substantial reduction in penalties on appeal for an engine infraction Apr, 21 at Kansas. On Friday, Gibbs cars ran 1-2-3 in the Nationwide Series race at Darlington, and the organization followed that Saturday with a 1-2 finish from Kenseth and Denny Hamlin in the 11th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race of the season.

Steve Babicek Snaps Winless Streak at 'The Can'

Susquehanna, PA May 11,2013...  With a rapidly approaching rain front Penn Can Speedway ran through four of their six racing divisions before rain postponed the final two features on Friday night.  In the headlining Modified division Steve Babicek of Binghamton, NY held off Mike Nagel Jr. for most of the event to take the win.  The win was Babicek first since May of 2008 snapping a near five year drought.  Nagel Jr. of Susquehanna, PA last year’s Modified Rookie of the year placed second while Kevin Hartnett Of Barto, PA charged from 11th to finish 3rd while Mike Nagel of Susquehanna and Nick Rochinski of Dickson City, PA completed the top five.  Butch Green(602 Sportsman) and Steve Deinhardt(Street Stocks) dominated their respective events while Nick Mady won the Xcel Mod event.
