CONCORD, NC- May 15, 2013- The Summit Racing Equipment Modified Nationals kicks off Saturday, June 8, at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind. During the next 42 hot summer nights, the tour will travel across eight states in the heart of DIRTcar Racing's UMP region before concluding in mid-July at Oakshade Raceway in Wauseon, Ohio.

Fresh Off His Stafford Speedway Spring Sizzler Victory; Santos Goes For Three-In-A-Row In Hall of Fame Classic

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- May15, 2013- Bobby Santos of Franklin, Mass. will try to score an unprecedented third consecutive Traxxas USAC Silver Crown victory at Lucas Oil Raceway Saturday in the second USAC “Hall of Fame Classic.”

Saturday’s event salutes USAC’s 57-year heritage as twelve individuals will be inducted into the USAC Hall of Fame during ceremonies prior to the 100-lap feature event. They include Henry Banks, Tony Bettenhausen, Tom Bigelow, Pancho Carter, Earl Baltes, Jack Hewitt, Johnny Rutherford, Bobby and Al Unser, A.J. Watson, Don White and Bob Wilke.

The opening race of the 2013 Silver Crown series features former Lucas Oil Raceway Silver Crown race winners Santos, East (3), Tracy Hines, Brian Tyler, Kody Swanson and Russ Gamester. East is the defending series champion, while Hines’ 13 victories in various series leads all USAC drivers at the .686-mile paved oval.

Jason Leffler holds the one-lap LOR track record of 121.667 mph. from 2000, while Mike Bliss set the 100-lap record of 104.306 mph in 2001.

Tyler, East and Levi Jones will each try to give their car owners the all-time lead in terms of career series victories. Tyler pilots a car fielded by Six-R Racing, while East and Jones team up in cars fielded by Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing. Each have 27 series wins.

Resurgent Trans Am Series Opens Lime Rock Park’s 2013 Season

LAKEVILLE, CT- May 15,2013- Yep, we know it’s a mouthful... What’s called the Lime Rock Park Season Opener featuring Trans Am and the Sunday Royals Garage Car Show benefitting the Wounded Warrior Project is Friday through Sunday, May 24-26.

Trans Am is America’s longest-running road racing championship – it debuted in 1966 – and after a fallow few years in the mid-2000s, the series has undergone a resurgence. The Lime Rock Park entry list is now at least 28 cars long – and may reach 30 by the start of the weekend.

Syracuse Haulers Presents Family Fun Entertainment Saturday, May 18 At The Fulton Speedway

FULTON, NY - May 15, 2013- Syracuse Haulers the provider of waste removal and green recycling to the Brewerton and Fulton Speedway presents a full night of family fun racing this Saturday night May, 18th at the Fulton Speedway.

On the race card Saturday night will be the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, SUNY  Canton Sportsman, NAPA Late Models, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and Four Cylinder Stocks.

Last Saturday night, Chad Phelps beat the heavy hitters for a popular win in the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds. Looking at the point standings, Fulton newcomer Rob Bellinger is tied atop the standings with veteran and former track champion Billy Decker.

VERNON, NY. May 14,2013... This Sunday, May 19, the Mirabito Fuel Group and HR Refuse will present another exciting show at the Utica-Rome Speedway with a full show of Modifieds, Sportsman, Pro Stocks, and Pure Stocks.  If the first month of racing is any indication, the fans should be treated to another action packed show.  The gates will swing open at 3:30 p.m. with action set to begin at 6 p.m.
