RURAL RETREAT, VA- July 23, 2014- To say that Jonathan Davenport’s Southern Nationals Series victory at Wythe Raceway was anything short of domination would be a sincere understatement.

The Mt. Airy, N.C., native captured his ninth career series victory in the flag-to-flag event while taking home the $3,500 payday on Monday night during round one of the 10-race mini tour. The defending series champion drove the K & L Rumley Enterprises Longhorn Chassis to the victory.

GRANBY, QUEBEC- July 22, 2014- "The Doctor" Danny Johnson, of Rochester, N.Y., raced to victory Monday, July 21, at Autodrome Granby, charging past challenger Billy Decker for the coveted Super DIRTcar Series win.

"I just have to thank the guys for giving me a great hot rod tonight," Johnson saud in Victory Lane after leading the final 80 laps of Monday's 100-lap Super DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series feature race. "My car was really good. It's really been working well for me. I'm really happy with it and I was able to maneuver it to the front."

BROCKVILLE, ONTARIO- July 22, 2014- With six big events ready for battle on Tackaberry Construction night, which included the Patriot Sprint Tour, the fans packed the grandstand and were in store for a great night of racing.

The Patriot Sprint Tour was back for the 2nd of 3 races at "The BOS" this season. Steve Poirier drew the pole position for the 25 lap event and raced out to a quick lead over Mitch Brown, Jared Zimbardi, Bryan Howland and April Wilson. It didn't take long for the first yellow of the night to come out as Paul Pekkonen spun off turn 3. On the restart Poirier continued to lead but behind him the carnage began to unfold as Chris Jones made contact with the inside wall sending him across the track and was hit head on by Pekkonen, Kyle Fraser and Stan Zanchin.

OSWEGO, NY- July 22, 2014-
The new pairing of Locke Racing and Randy Ritskes continues to impress in Oswego Speedway’s Novelis Supermodified division, as Ritskes cruised to his third win of the season in the Speedway’s Summer Championship on Saturday night presented by C’s Beverage Center and Crop Production Services.

Ritskes started the 50-lap main from eighth position, charged through the pack with little resistance, and stole the lead from Tim Devendorf on lap nine to drive away to his 12th career Supermodified victory at the ‘Steel Palace’, tying him on the all-time list with late great Ron Lux.

BECHTELSVILLE, PA- July 22, 2014- The results of the second Open Wheel Spectacular at Grandview Speedway have been written in the record books.  While that chapter may be closed, it is not likely that the talk about this racing event will end any time soon.  

Race fans saw Steve Buckwalter set a blistering pace on his way to his second consecutive win in American Racing Drivers Club (ARDC) action on the high banks of the Grandview Speedway Sunday night.  The Tri-State Race Savers (TSRS) Sprint Car feature saw three different leaders during the final six laps with multiple lead changes on several laps before Jeff Geiges took command and the win.
