Defending champ drives to fourth World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Victory of ’13
MECHANICSBURG, PA- May 17, 2013 - Donny Schatz caught and passed Greg Hodnett in the final corner on Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway to win his fourth World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series event of the season in thrilling fashion.
Schatz, who started 12th, picked off series points leader Daryn Pittman and two of Pennsylvania's fiercest competitors, Fred Rahmer and Hodnett, over the final three laps to win at the historic central Pennsylvania venue for the 17th time in his career.

BREWERTON, NY - May 17, 2013- What a night at the Brewerton Speedway in the Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds. There was a first-lap crash that took out some top competitors and late in the race the top-two runners, Ryan Bartlett and Pat Ward made contact on the final lap. It ended with Robbie Bellinger passing Matt Sheppard on that final lap for his second career Brewerton win.

CHARLOTTE, NC- May 17, 2013- Dick Trickle, a former NASCAR driver whose larger-than-life personality and penchant for fun won him legions of fans despite a lack of success beyond the nation's small tracks, died Thursday of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said. He was 71. According to a release from the Lincoln County (NC) Sheriff's Office, Trickle died from an apparent self-inflicted gun shot wound. The incident occurred at 12:02 p.m. ET at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Highway 150 East in Boger City.
